Way back in 2006 some 1200 people came, enjoyed and partied really hard. Since then, Beat Herder has grown and they have added some 16 additional music areas, 14 bars, a large number of stalls and fairground rides.

Shifts required: Training on site plus 2 x 8 hour volunteer shifts or equivalent.
Shift patterns: TBC on site. Thursday - Sunday. No nightshift or later shifst on showdays.

Based in the Lancashire's Ribble Valley, Beat Herder Festival is an annual event celebrating beats and quirkiness. Starting in 2006, the 4-day event welcomes thousands of visitors and has music from dubstep to reggae, punk, house and many more. Who will the good people of BH produce for their wonderful event in 2025...????

All our volunteer roles on site are light customer facing tasks and you will be fully supported by your Supervisors and the Festaff team.

Dive into the heart of the festival scene with Festaff – where the music is epic, the vibes are electric, and the memories last a lifetime.

By joining our volunteer team, you’ll get a front-row seat to the excitement and experience the biggest acts of the day without the hefty ticket price!

Flying solo or volunteering with friends - we have a team for you on our team.

We’re currently on the lookout for friendly and reliable people to help us with simple customer-facing roles at BH 2025.

What to expect:

You’ll work just 2 x 8-hour shifts (Plus training) during the festival. The rest of the time? It’s all yours to soak up the music, the atmosphere, and the unforgettable experience of Beat Herder.

You will be required to camp – we will provide washing facilities, drinking water, and basic lighting. However, we do have an allocation of campervan spots available. You must email Festaff with Reg, Make, L.W & H once you have been offered a pot to book your Campervan in.  These spots are be limited.  

Shifts will be allocated on site after accreditation – shifts will be graded A/ B so that they are spread evenly, and all volunteers get a fair choice of shifts.

Please note once on site at the Beat Herder you are required to be on volunteer shift where and when required by the Music Festival promoter and Festaff management. You will be advised as far as possible of volunteer shift patterns, etc. in advance of the music festival but we cannot be 100% accurate of all that is required until on site. Please bear this in mind.
You must plan and make your own way to and from the event.
