I volunteer because it's an amazing opportunity to get together with my friends that also volunteer who I don't get to see much of throughout the year. Spending quality time with them and having the opportunity to meet other like-minded people is one of the best aspects of working as part of the Festaff team.

Website easy to navigate.

I find the website and social media really simple to navigate. Being able to secure tickets to some of the most exclusive festivals is great. Knowing that the company genuinely cares about the volunteers is also reassuring. The team are more than helpful, it's like being part of a family.

On site experience

Working at Glastonbury for the past two years gave me a real insight into the scope of the festival. All the working parts that bring the festival together are mind-boggling. Going to Glastonbury for the first time and having the privilege to be a part of the team that makes it possible was really special. The transferable customer skills that you pick up are great, but what really makes working as part of the team fantastic is that as soon as you have finished your shift you have a bunch of new mates to go see acts with. Managing to see both headliners on the final night of Glastonbury 2016 was a real highlight for me. Also stumbling across other co-workers whilst underneath Arcadia is always fun!

Come prepared! For everything! wellies/swimsuit/snacks you never know what you're gonna need!
