Festaff is looking for a small group of willing volunteers to assist on this unique and exciting event that is raising awareness to help eradicate homelessness in Scotland and funds for varying good causes in Scotland through Social Bite http://social-bite.co.uk/
By joining our team you will be helping a collaborative movement of the third sector, the private sector and The Scottish Government to tackle one of society's most pressing issues - good for your soul and for your CV!
You would be stewarding in small groups under the guidance of a supervisor ensuring that each of the sleep zones are camped sensibly and looking after the fundraisers/customers in that area.
Volunteers required: 4pm on Saturday 9th to 7am on Sunday 10th. Welfare breaks be given throughout your time on site and shifts allocated on the day. You will be given time to enjoy much of the entertainment on offer including the intimate acoustic sets given by the musical guests.

Deposit £20 – fully refundable at the event in cash. No admin fee to be paid as it’s a charity event but we require to charge a deposit up front to show commitment. Any unsuccessful applications will be fully refunded.
There will be warm up tents on site. We will make sure you are given hot meal vouchers whlist hot drinks will always be available throughout the event
No alcohol allowed on site. Applicants need to be 16 or over.

NB: As this is Scotland in December it is going to be cold. FACT. You are there to look after the patron’s welfare, so it is important that you are well wrapped up. It is also important if rain is forecast to have a waterproof jacket etc. Weather conditions will be monitored in the week leading up to the event and if it is felt by Local Authority Public Safety the weather is to extreme a decision will be made as to whether the event goes ahead.
